I’m a student nurse and have become quite used to the idea of wearing scrubs on a daily basis BUT I will want to feel like I woman. YES, ladies, it’s possible! Unless your employer requires you to wear Tweety bird then your personal style should not be impaired. Two things are important in order to achieve this. 1. The fit, do NOT buy scrubs that are too big or too little. They are unflattering as it is so you won’t be doing yourself any favors with that mistake. 2. Have fun with your hair! No need to just stick it up in a plain ponytail for the sake of convenience. If it’s mandatory that you wear your hair up than do yourself a justice and check out some Pinterest ideas for cute up do’s!
Yes, nursing is hard work, and sometimes our looks aren’t our main priority BUT a little effort goes a LONG way!

Lucy Hale has become quite the popular face in Hollywood over the past few years. Now the “Pretty Little Liars” star is collaborating with Hollister for this new line!
The clothing pieces that have been chosen are clearly a reflection on Hale’s personality. It’s layered, comfy and slightly bohemian! And don’t worry about breaking the bank either, this line ranges from $19.95-$44.95! The first installment of this 2 part collection is set to premier on August 8th, 2014!
I won’t lie to you guys. The image above is what my daily attire looks like. My style is neutrals but mostly BLACK! This summer I have challenged myself to experimenting with a little color yet still staying true to myself and what I’m comfortable in. Here are a few examples of what I’ve played with.
I have to dress up at work and instead of buying a whole new wardrobe I opted for getting some accessories in a fun accent color!
I started out with a few nude pieces and then quickly fell in love with the blush pink tones. Who would have thought!? Don’t get me wrong, I don’t go overboard, but a few pieces here and there have made a major change!
I’m a huge fan of white but I don’t own a lot due to it being hard to keep up. I did find a perfect pair of white pants and adding some neutral in with it kept me feeling comfortable stepping out of the norm!
I am a discount shopper and am always looking through clearance aisle and even resale stores. You don’t have to spend a fortune to look expensive. Stay tuned for my next post and I’ll get into all that!
